Worship at Zumbro
Christian liturgical traditions go back to ancient times, yet they are ever-changing and new. At Zumbro, we use a variety of musical styles as we gather for worship, placing a special emphasis on relevant preaching, inspiring music, creative artistic expressions, and family-friendly elements.
Sunday worship offers traditional liturgy with music provided by organ and music ensembles, and a user-friendly bulletin with the layout of the worship service.
Wednesday worship offers an informal, ‘come-as-you-are’ feel, where worship is experienced in all five senses. Music is led by a band and screens are used for direction through the worship service, storytelling, and artistic expression.
Holy Communion is received on the first and third Sundays at 8:30am and 10:30am and the following Wednesdays.
The music ministry of Zumbro is recognized throughout the area for its long-time tradition of music in worship that is done well, creative in musical styles, inclusive and inspiring, all to the glory of God.
Young children are most welcome with us at worship. If needed, the nursery is available and staffed during all services. Please ask an usher for directions.
The preaching pastor will publish a brief written weekly devotional to walk hand-in-hand with worship. You can pick up print copies near the ushers’ stand, receive it in your email inbox.
