Watch this short video to learn how to give online in minutes!
We use the commercial banking transaction provider "Stripe". Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, Stripe uses the best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security.
Our preferred method for giving is to use ACH, since the transaction fees for this are significantly lower than using a credit or debit card. To give with ACH (direct withdrawal), you will need your checking account number and routing number found on the bottom of your checks.Â
To give via credit or debit card, you will just need to have the card in front of you to enter the appropriate information.Â
We are currently in the process of adding Apple Pay to our giving options and this should be available soon.Â
Please contact our Director of Operations, Tracy Schar who will be happy to assist you.Â
If you choose ACH (checking withdrawal) automated giving you will be asked to login to your bank account with PLAID. This is a 3rd party industry standard banking service that will not share your banking information with Zumbro or any other entity other than our online giving provider. Using PLAID is secure and confidential.Â
5 WAYS TO GIVE
RETIREMENT GIFTS
Talk with a financial professional to make a gift from an IRA or other retirement account. Because ZLC is an eligible nonprofit recipient, your gift may have tax advantages for you. (ZLC personnel cannot give tax or investment advice.)
LIFE INSURANCE GIFTS
Designate ZLC as a beneficiary on a life insurance policy by indicating the church’s name and contact information.
ESTATE GIFTS
Directly name ZLC in a will to establish a legacy gift of a set amount, to give a percentage of an estate, or to transfer property or valuable belongings.
HOW IS MY GIFT USED?
Gifts to Zumbro Lutheran Church (ZLC) go to the General Fund
and support the good of the church, mission priorities, and charitable partners.
