High School Ministry

Zumbro’s High School Youth Ministry is for 9-12 grade youth, their families, and friends. It provides small group experiences to learn and grow in faith, leadership and service opportunities, and trips and events to explore their journey with Jesus, serve God’s people, and experience safe and faithful community and support.

During this COVID-19 Pandemic Season, a variety of small groups and service opportunities will be offered both online and in-person (as able to do safely). Fall Small Groups launched in September 2020.

Small Groups:

Seasonal Small Groups provide our 9-12 graders space to deepen authentic relationships and discuss and wrestle with issues of faith and life.

Peer Ministry:

Open to 10-12 graders (training takes place in fall and winter each year)

This leadership program provides space to practice relational leadership skills equipping you to care for your relationships well and be a leader among your peers. It gives high school youth space to dig deeper into who they are and who they might be created to be, provide opportunities to lead and serve in our church, community, and world, and provide practical lifelong leadership and life skills.

Community Events:

Seasonal events will be held for 9-12 graders

High School Summer Service Trip:

Each summer Zumbro youth spend a week away serving our neighbors and learning and growing beside each other as community.

Zumbro will be partnering with Birnamwood Appalachian Ministry in Irvine, KY the week of June 19-26, 2021. Youth and leaders will participate in house building projects and other needs identified with partner ministries. The trip is open to all current 9-12 graders and adult leaders.

Youth Mission Opportunities:

A variety of mission and outreach opportunities are open to Zumbro high school youth. Check out upcoming events on the sidebar or calendar on how to serve with us.
